My friend Sarah works for Read To Succeed in Rutherford County and she was looking for photographers to cover their annual event, Reading in the Schools Day . Sarah was my editor-in-chief when I worked as photo editor for MTSU’s student paper. She’s also an AWESOME writer. Seriously, check out her blog. Rock Springs Elementary in La Vergne hosted a literary parade. Each class had a different kid’s book. It was adorable! For about an hour I really wanted to be an elementary school teacher… I mean come on, they get to march in literary parades! Who wouldn’t love that?
