chattanooga engagement photographer- Alyssa & Andy

I was so excited for Alyssa & Andy’s engagement photos in Chattanooga. The sun even came out & graced us with temperatures in the mid-60s! I can’t wait for summer! :)

Chelsey Somohano asked me to second shoot this lovely Chattanooga wedding & I just couldn’t say no! I’m so glad I got the chance. Shannon & Dan held their ceremony & reception at the Chattanoogan Hotel in downtown Chattanooga. It was a great day with beautiful light & crazy fun dancing!
Our transition to Chattanooga has been slow but steady. We’re getting use to it & trying like crazy to find a thai restaurant that is as good as Pad Thai Cafe in Murfreesboro. Anyone have a suggestion? I’m a thai food fiend. I need some delicious/cheap red curry! Besides that, I’m itching for spring so I can come out of my winter hibernation!
Today I’ve got a good one for you from one of my favorite Knoxville wedding venues- The Foundry! I swear, every Knoxville Foundry wedding is gorgeous! Gahhh did I love shooting this wedding! It rained like crazy, but Kathleen & Matthew took it like champs & let me drag them under random bridges. I’m pretty sure I had the rainiest weddings ever this year & I kinda love them! It’s good luck anyway :)
Big thanks to Nhu Duong for being a wonderful second shooter at this wedding!

Hi friends! I’m officially moved in & loving Chattanooga! I can’t wait to start photographing weddings in this wonderful city. Many people have asked, so let me address this. YES, I am still shooting in Knoxville/Nashville/wherever you want to bring me. Please do not hesitate to get in touch about your wedding even if it’s not in Chattanooga!
This is such a pretty little engagement session & I’m excited to share it. We were lucky that Moon Shadow Lodge in Townsend let us come up for the evening. What an AMAZING venue. The setting blew me away! Huge thanks to Moon Shadow Lodge for sharing their little slice of heaven & thanks for Abbie and Jon for being ridiculously cute.
I’ve got big news.
I’M MOVING TO CHATTANOOGA!!! I can’t wait to start shooting weddings there. I’ll continue to photograph weddings in Knoxville & beyond as well.
I’ve been meaning to blog this wedding forever, but it feels even more appropriate with the move. You may have noticed I’ve been kinda quiet on the blog. SO much has been going on & it’s taken a backseat. I’ve got so much great work from 2012 to share! But first, this amazing wedding in Chattanooga at the Baylor School.
Holy moly- amazing venue & amazing families for this wedding. I hope you enjoy!
