On October 1st 2009 I had the honor of being in Changsha, China when China celebrated it’s 60th year of being the People’s Republic of China. Chinese people celebrate their national day (国庆节) pretty much the same as American’s celebrate the Fourth of July. Good food, good friends, and fun. Oh, and LOTS of fireworks.

Yesterday was China’s National Holiday & I was feeling a little nostalgic. I used this blog post as an excuse to dig through my old photos. It’s been a little over a year since I’ve been in China & I feel it’s pull everyday! I miss China miserably.

Two years ago my friend Wang Hao invited me to Martyr Park (长沙烈士公园) in Changsha, Hunan to celebrate. I’m so thankful for her friendship.
