I met Amber & Michael a few weeks after their wedding for this super fun post wedding session in Murfreesboro. I absolutely LOVE post wedding sessions. It’s a time when the couple can get all dressed up & take a bunch more portraits without the constraints of the wedding day. We get to go anywhere we want & take more photos than we could if they had guests waiting on them. It’s a great way to get more bridal photos too.

Another perk is that you can shoot at a time that has the most beautiful light. I mean really, the light in these photos is SO yummy. I’m so glad Amber & Michael brought along their adorable pup Huey. Seriously, I just love this session so much.

Molly & Kirk are troopers, I tell ya. For their Tennessee engagement photos, we met on a drizzly November afternoon in Franklin, TN. Sometimes it sprinkled, sometimes a bit more, but you can barely tell in the photos. Molly & Kirk are so sweet together, the rainy weather was no biggie. I love doing engagement sessions when there’s a forecast of rain. In Tennessee you just never know if it will be a downpour or a sprinkle!

We started in downtown Franklin & then headed over to the Park at Harlinsdale Farm. When possible, I love hitting up an urban & park location. I’m a fan of variety. Molly & Kirk, thank you for the fun times & I can’t wait for your Houston Station wedding! xo

Molly & Kevin are getting married this weekend in Oak Ridge & I am ridiculously excited. When we met up for their downtown Knoxville engagement photos, I had the honor of getting to know them. Molly & Kevin were high school sweethearts that reunited in the middle of their college careers. They spent the rest of college & a little bit after suffering through a long distance relationship- so this makes their wedding so special. I love hearing their story!

The day of Tina & Jamie’s Chattanooga engagement photos, it threatened rain ALL DAY. Tennessee weather is such a joy. Luckily, as soon as I arrived at Red Clay State Park the rain clouds moved on & we had wonderful weather for their engagement session. Just outside of Chattanooga, Red Clay State Park is a beautiful area for exploring & taking pictures. I’m so glad that the rain clouds cleared because Tina & Jamie are adorable together. I can’t wait to share their wedding on the blog soon! xo

Ashley & Eric are getting married this weekend in Abingdon, VA!! It’d be nice if I posted their engagement photos before their wedding, so here we are! :)

I photographed their engagement photos in the beautiful hills of East Tennessee. To be more exact, were at the Red House Flower Farm in Blaine, TN. That farm is such a treasure for photographers!
