This is a beast of a post.

Mallory & Philip held their wedding ceremony at Mountain Cove Farms in Chickamauga, GA. It has a quaint little airstrip where they use to land their plane when they were dating. Such a sentimental place! It also helps that Mountain Cove Farms is drop-dead gorgeous. They held their reception at the Sheraton Read House in downtown Chattanooga- which is about as classy as it can get. It was such a wonderful day. Mallory & Philip spend their day surrounded by their loved ones.

It’s officially the first time I’ve seen a bride & groom fly away from their ceremony in an airplane. So memorable & fun for everyone! Huge props to Cheryl of Blissful Moments Wedding & Event Planning for helping everything come together.

What a wonderful day & what wonderful friends & family! Amber & Michael’s wedding was sweet beyond words & Legacy Farms always surprises me with its beauty! I’m so happy I had the privilege to photograph it. Big thanks to my friend Kermit who did a wonderful job second shooting for me. I can’t wait to share Amber & Michael’s after session!

Ting & Wil drove all the way up from Louisiana for this pre-wedding session. Then later I flew all the way to Sanya, China for their wedding. It was such an honor to get to know these two & I’m so happy I had the opportunity to photograph them. I’ll be blogging their China wedding soon, so be on the lookout for that! It’s traditional for Chinese weddings to display wedding photos at the reception, so that’s where this session came in. Cades Cove was the perfect location for this shoot- we even saw a few bears & a turkey! Enjoy :)

Oh, Jordan & David. What a heartfelt wedding at the Red House in Franklin. I love that this lovely couple infused so much of them into their wedding. From their sentimental ceremony to their vegetarian dinner, it was SO Jordan & David. They even had the caterer make a few of the recipes they love to make together. Jordan rocked a pair of Chacos & David DJ’d the entire reception. I’m telling you- it was a rockin’ evening full of love. Thanks Jordan & David for having me!

Rachel Moore asked me to second shoot for this wedding & I jumped on the opportunity. I love second shooting- it’s like the fun of a wedding with a little bit less stress. Marissa & Thomas are too sweet to each other & this wedding included one of the sweetest wedding moments I’ve ever seen. Thomas surprised Marissa before the wedding by singing the Avett Brother song “Offering”. Basically the sweetest song you could ever sing to someone before your wedding.
