Lakin & Zach are the best. After all the fun I had with them last fall shooting their engagement photos, I knew their Knoxville wedding would be a hoot! This is one crafty wedding. Lakin & Zach pretty much DIY-ed everything, including Lakin’s felt flower bouquet. It was gorgeous! I love it when couples infuse their personalities into a wedding.

Back in May I had the honor of assisting Rachel of Rachel Moore Photography shoot Melissa & Joel’s Nashville wedding. I had a blast second shooting for Rachel! Lakin & Zach were married last weekend in Knoxville! I’m excited to finish working on this awesome wedding filled with cute details INCLUDING a bouquet they made themselves, but in the meantime, here’s a little preview.

Oh, sweet Melissa. I adore this woman, her family, & new husband! It was such a joy to be able to document this day for these two. I am so thankful for their families’ welcoming spirits!

Melissa & Dave were married at Scarritt Bennett in Nashville, TN. They had a noon wedding because both Melissa’s parent’s & grandparents were married at noon. Isn’t that the sweetest thing?

My stars am I excited to share this wedding. Let’s see… downtown Nashville rooftop wedding at Aerial Nashville followed by a fun reception with karaoke? Heck yeah!

I love how April & Christian really infused what they love into their weddings. It was probably the most touching & unique ceremony I’ve witnessed yet! The bridal party danced into the ceremony while guests beat tambourines & eggshakers. That fun energy built up until April & her dad walked down the aisle to “She’s the One” by Bruce Springsteen played by her brother & brother-in-law. Perfect.

Seriously, this wedding was so fun. Congrats to the newlyweds, April & Christian! You could really feel the love that every guest had for the couple.
