First off, I’d like to give a BIG THANKS to Mrs. Anna Hedges for inviting me along to this wedding as a second photographer. It was SO much fun!

Daniela & Brent were married at the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, TN. It was one of the biggest celebrationsI’ve photographed! That’s what a wedding really is, right? A celebration of love? Daniela’s family is from Ecuador & they own a rose farm. All of the flowers for the wedding were from that farm. How perfect is that? It was so great to see the love everyone had for Daniela & Brent!

One more important part of this wedding: HORA LOCA!!!! Seriously. It.was.so.much.fun. It’s a latino tradition where they pass out fun props & have a ‘crazy hour’. At this wedding, the Hora Loca lasted way longer than an hour. :)

I’ve been soaking up this gorgeous fall weather lately & exploring a bit. Here’s some random shots from my wanderings in Murfreesboro. :)

Oh boy oh boy, PHOTOBOOTHS ARE SO MUCH FUN!

Lauren & Robert contacted me a few months ago, asking if there’s anyway I could set up a photobooth for her wedding. I said OF COURSE because I’ve been dying to try it out! So off I went to Party City to buy lots & lots of fun props. At Lauren & Robert’s reception, the photobooth was a huge hit. From little kids to grandparents, everyone wanted in on the action. It is such a good way to get photos of all your guests!

I’ve decided to offer photobooths as an add-on to all of my wedding clients. As you’ll see, it’s not really a photo’booth’. More of a little portable studio. Lauren & Robert chose to use a background at their reception. The brick worked well! If you’ve already booked with me & are interested in having a photobooth, just get in touch.

When Amanda told me she wanted to do her & Zeb’s engagement session in Gatlinburg, I was like “HELL YES”. I LOVE the Smokey Mountains & I LOVED having a reason to make that beautiful drive up there. When I found out that they wanted to do their engagement photos in a park that has sentimental value, I was even MORE excited. Amanda & Zeb are just too cute together.

Seriously, isn’t Amanda’s GORGEOUS red hair the best? I’m obsessed with it! It’s a photographer’s dream!

Amanda & Zeb, I had so much fun with you guys! Can’t wait for your wedding next year :)
