whitestone inn wedding: Jess & Tyler
November 27, 2011
Jess & Tyler held their wedding at Whitestone Country Inn in Kingston, TN. Wow, what a GORGEOUS venue. It’s right on Watts Bar Lake too.
What an amazing day. After the ceremony was over and we were exploring the property for Jess & Tyler’s portraits, I witnessed such a sweet moment. Jess asked Tyler, “What was the first thing you thought when you saw me coming out of the church?” He replied, “Oh my goodness, I hope I don’t cry.”
That’s the type of couple they are. Jess & Tyler glow around each other & I’m so so happy to have had the opportunity to document their wedding. I also really enjoyed spending the day with their families.
As the reception was winding down & I was packing up, Tyler asked everyone to give me a round of applause. Me? What? Why? I’ll be honest, I teared up a bit. I freaking love my job & my clients. Thank you Tyler & Jess.

Aleeeeeeeeeex! What a beautiful wedding! I kept scrolling through, amazed at how many funny or sweet or moving moments you caught. So, so good. The ceremony shots are really lovely, and 033, and the shot of the groomsman (father of the groom?) during the ceremony. All of them make me think how loved this couple is, and how joyful the day must have been for everyone to see them married! SUCH A GREAT SET!
what a beautifully captured wedding! You’ve got some wonderfully emotional moments here! They look really happy- and I’m sure they will treasure these images from their big day for years to come!
Love the shots of them sitting in the field!

Really lovely images, Alex. The bride is glowing with happiness! I’m a huge fan of all the fantastic candid shots.
So many beautiful smiles and happy tears. What a gorgeous day!
The whole wedding is fantastic… but those first portraits of the bride, next to the window are just breathtaking!
There are so many smiles. Seriously, they are crazy happy and everyone is crazy happy for them. Love, love love your coverage.
Alex, these are spectacular! Love the portraits of her by the window. And the photo of the father crying had me staring at it for quite a while. Nice work, girl!!!
You are amazing! The one of them sitting in the field where he is looking away and she is looking at the camera belongs on the cover of a bride’s magazine!
Your portraits throughout are just beautiful, and the emotions you have captured are so poignant! The one of the father is soo sweet!!!
Ah yeah Alex you laid these down! Love the reception shots and the bridal shots are fantastic. How cute are the bridesmaids?
