Hi there!

I’m Alex & I’m a Knoxville same-sex wedding photographer. joyfully photograph gay weddings, elopements, portrait sessions, you name it! I am an ally to LGBTQ+ folks. My experience with same sex clients has been very diverse. In 2012 I had the opportunity to photograph Jamie & Courtney’s engagement session. Since then, I’ve followed their family and photographed their maternity, birth, newborn, their daughter’s six month session, their wedding, and their son’s newborn photos. I photographed same sex weddings in Huntsville on the first legal day in Alabama. I had the honor of documenting Allie & Tomie’s wedding in Birmingham.

In June, I flew up to New Hampshire & photographed Nick & Zach’s summer camp wedding. Less than a week later, the Supreme Court legalized same sex marriage for the nation. Armed with my camera, I marched right down to the Hamilton County Courthouse & documented the first two same sex weddings in Chattanooga.

Since the legalization of same sex weddings for Tennesseans, I’ve been busier than ever. It’s truly an amazing time for us all & I am proud to be a small part of this time in history by photographing amazing couples.
