Knoxville Engagement Photography
Ah, Knoxville engagement photography! This city is so perfect for engagement photos- there are so many great parks and downtown spots for engagement sessions. I’ve photographed engagement sessions all over the state of Tennessee but my favorites are always in Knoxville.
Engagement sessions are such a great time to get to know your photographer & get some great photos out of it too. It may seem illogical, but engagement sessions are perfect for couples who feel apprehensive about being photographed. I can get you in front of the camera in a low stress environment & show you how it’s not as bad as you made it in your head. I often think of engagement sessions as an opportunity to celebrate your relationship. Your wedding photos will be beautiful, but you’ll probably be all dolled up. I love the opportunity to photograph people being their everyday self.
If you’ve found this post, you are probably looking for an engagement photographer in Knoxville. Maybe you are getting married in a different city or you want to take your engagement photos before you’ve planned your wedding. There are many reasons people choose their engagement photographer separately from their wedding photographer. Whether you are looking for a wedding photographer or just an engagement photographer, I’d love to show you some of my favorite Knoxville engagement photography.
1-Knoxville engagement photography -Tressie & Sterg
Stressie & Sterg had a beautiful engagement session in Knoxville. They chose to go to the UTK library to take photos of where they met. Isn’t that the cutest thing ever? See more of their Knoxville engagement photos here.
2- Sarah & Clint
For Sarah & Clint’s summer engagement session, we headed to the mountains. One of the best things about Knoxville is it’s close proximity to the mountains. I love photographing sessions there! Check out this Knoxville engagement photography here.
3- Kristin & Michael
I’m so glad Kristin & Michael chose me for their Knoxville engagement photographer! We had such a blast exploring parts in North Knoxville. I loved how sweet they are together. See my favorites from their session here.
4- Molly & Kevin
Downtown Knoxville is perfect for engagement photos. There are so many nooks & crannies to explore. It helps that it isn’t that crowded! Molly & Kevin’s downtown session was super fun.
5- Kathleen & Matthew
For their Knoxville engagement session, we headed to the Old City. I love the feeling of that part of Knoxville. Their session was incredibly sweet & fun!
I try to schedule engagement sessions for the hour before sunset or the hour after sunrise. I suggest keeping the locations to a minimum so we don’t waste beautiful light driving from place to place! In a nutshell, we’ll walk around for a while, look for the best light, and take fun photos. I’ll put you in poses & give you things to do, so don’t feel like you have to have poses in your mind. That’s my job!
I try my best to keep it natural & not-too-cheesy. We’ll laugh, get to know each other, & take great photos. Unless you plan to use your photos for save the dates, you can schedule your session whenever. If you’ve got plenty of time, it can be helpful to think of what season you prefer. We’ll brainstorm together & come up with a great location that fits your personality. After the session, I’ll send you a link to view your photos within 2-3 weeks. I’ll deliver at least 50 photos from your session that you can download straight from the proofing gallery.
If you like my work, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to check out my portfolio too!
